Last week, my friends and I were at the beach when this European guy approached my girl friend Miss JJ. He was carrying a bottle of beer and asking bizarro questions. I have learnt from previous experience to ignore and walk on when strange men approach me.
Miss JJ is a nice girl and too polite to tell strangers to get lost. She even gave him her REAL name!!! I just didn't like this dude because he was clearly alcohol-intoxicated and the scary part was when he followed us...
I gave her some wise words later - "Miss JJ, NEVER ever give strangers your REAL name. Always have a fake name ready!"
My sister, Sista 4, also agreed and we shared our fake names. Sista 4 usually goes by the name Sharon. She also has a fake Chinese name - Ga Ling!
I usually use the name Sarah. Plain and simple.
However, after a silly night out, we decided to change our fake names.
Miss JJ became Fergalicious Bring It Take It Bimbimbap Chan.
Sista 4 became Bimbim Bap.
Ridiculously FAKE! Anyone can spot that these names are FAKE a mile away!!!
I, on the other hand, choose a more discreet and believeable name - Galbi Tang.
Galbi Tang is actually Korean beef soup!!! LOL!
Well, a couple of mornings ago, I was innocently walking to work, slurping on my freshly-made smoothie. I walked into the building and pressed for the lift when this dude started talking to me.
Dude : Hi, is there a coffee shop near here?
Me : Oh I dunno. I'm new here.
Dude : Hey, is that a Cantonese accent I hear? (wtf is a Cantonese accent??!!)
Me : Erm, no. I'm Scottish.
Dude : Oh yes, I can hear it now...
(Lift arrives but the Dude keeps talking...)
Dude : But you look Cantonese... (okay, I'm Chinese and EVEN I cannot tell whether Asian people are from China or Hong Kong or Malaysia or Singapore or Japan or other Asian race so how can this Caucasian dude know?)
Me : Erm...well...my parents are from Hong Kong...
Dude : HONG KONG? Wow! I'm planning to go there next year and I'm also taking Cantonese lessons...Ngor jong yee heung gong...(= I like Hong Kong)
(I press lift again)
Me : Oh yeah, that's good...
Dude : Hey listen, why don't we get together some time and we can discuss Hong Kong together? I'll give you my business card. I'm Dude and what's your name again?
Me : Sexytooth (DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He caught me off guard and I gave him my REAL name!!)
Dude : Do you work here?
Me : Yes...(DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm usually good at lying...what happened???!!) Do you work here?
Dude : No I don't.
He hands me his business card. We say our goodbyes. And then guess what? He walks out the building....
Yes, the stalker Dude followed me into my work building after spying me on the streets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stalker alert!!
His business card claims he's a doctor and he owns some medical clinic...and he has bad teeth btw.
I hope he doesn't come looking for me. I feel so dumb for giving him my real name. It was an opportunity for me to use my fake name Galbi Tang but I wasted it. LOL.

Timing Is A Bitch!
Timing is a bitch!
Why?
I was bumming around in Sydney on my lonesome...eating out alone...seeing sights alone...taking photos alone...(when my friends were working or studying). Then I got a job - wahey! I started work on 9th December 2009...and guess what? My sister, Sista 4, arrived in Sydney the next day! She bummed around in my flat or did things on her lonesome when I was at work. Timing is a bitch! #1
I had a week off work for Christmas and New Year, so we were able to spend some time together visiting New Zealand.
And then my Norwegian friend, Mr Norway, arrived in Sydney to pay me a visit. He arrived on the first day I started back at work after the holidays. Timing is a bitch! #2
Good thing is, Sista 4 & Mr Norway had each other to sightsee with.
But this is taking the mickey...I just found out that I am finishing up work next week instead of mid-February because the dentist I am covering for, is feeling better after heart surgery...
Sista 4 leaves on the 20th January. I finish work on the 21st January. Mr Norway leaves on the 23rd January. Timing is a bitch! #3
This one is the biggie... My UK dental registration payment was due on 31st December 2009. My dad only showed my sister, Sista 2, the letter on the 29th December. She tried to contact me but I had just changed my phone number PLUS there was no internet access in New Zealand (we were up north) and some miscommunication later, the payment was not made. I found out on 2nd January 2010. I am now no longer eligible to work in the UK unless I pay triple the fee PLUS get a health medical examination PLUS some character references PLUS lots of paperwork. Timing is a bitch! #4

Happy New Year
Oh dear! I have lost my blogging mojo...NOT!!
I have just been mega-busy and here is an update of my life for the last couple of months when I was MIA from my blog.
I started a new job, my sister arrived in Oz to spend 2 long months with me and I picked up a boyfriend ALL at the same time. Trying to find a happy balance has proven difficult and I have been extremely exhausted and my insomniac-days have disappeared and sometimes, I even have mid-afternoon naps! *shock horror!*
Working is boring ya-dee-ya-dee-ya but it's good for the money and by the beginning of February, I will once again be unemployed and have abundance of freedom, but by then, my sister will have left Oz!
My sister arrived and brought lotsa UK goodies for me. Friends and family had passed gifts to me and I felt so loved. Spending good old quality time with my sister has been good - it mostly consists of eating out.
We have also done some travelling together - to Melbourne and to Auckland, New Zealand. We are also heading to Gold Coast together. Yep, all this from MY rapidly depleting bank balance!!
And the boy...I have been surprisingly private about him...but don't worry, I am just saving up all the juicy stuff so I can publicly blog about him. He doesn't know my blog address and I think I will keep it that way for a long time.
He doesn't need to know what I really think about other guys...LOL...
I am extremely happy and I walk around with a big smile on my face. It's one of those long distance relationships - we are over 9 hours drive away but only 1.5 hours flight away...
But I will be honest, I enjoyed my single life - the freedom of being single and free to mingle. I will elaborate and write more in-depth stuff later.
Happy 2010 and enjoy all the blessings.
xoxo

I Need Botox
I am qualified to do Botox on people.
(It makes sense - dentist - needles)
FYI, my first patient was male!
Botox paralyses the muscles which give you wrinkles - forehead, frown line and lines around the eyes.
Anyway, it is no secret that I get Botox-ed. Hey, if I am going to sell it, then I should have it done.
The annoying thing is - once you start this Botox business, you have to maintain it.
I got a dose of Botox before I left the UK in July and less than 6 months later, this has now worn off completely!
I hate seeing those lines when I smile...ARGH!!!
No anti-ageing lotions or potions produce the same effect - I know because I splurge out on all these magic potions and none of them work!
Yesterday, two of my Aussies friends commented that I don't look like my "usual glam self" - it's only because the Botox has worn off and I have that wrinkly raisin forehead. My forehead is alive once again!!!
OH NOOOooooooo!!!!
But it's okay...my boyfriend still thinks I am attractive...oh wait, did I just spill the beans?
*happy grin*

Dear Diary #2
Dear Diary (continued from Dear Diary #1)
And then...there's this guy, right......well, he did one of the nicest things ever....I told my mum via Skype and she said it was sweet too...
A bunch of us wandered into this magazine store and I immediately glued my eyeballs to Heat, a celebrity gossip magazine. No prizes for guessing what one of my secret addictions is!! But anyway, he bought me a subscription to an Aussie celebrity gossip magazine. Woohoo!!
The End of Diary entry, xoxo.
Let's analyse this on my blog :-
He got a "plus" for the surprise magazine subscription
The "minus" is that he doesn't live in Sydney...
He lives in Melbourne.
He is also Guy D in the blog post entitled Chivalry.
D stands for Dorky...
From now on, I shall call him Mr Dorky in my blog...oh yes, I think there may be a few blog posts about him because on the same day I received my first magazine through the post, he also sent me something else...

Bye Sydney
Having a brief flick through my recent posts and realise that I have been sprouting on about guys, dating, lovelife stuff - this is too Bridget Jones for my liking!
I may be boring you with too much talk about guys and whatnot...(but between you and me, I find it extremely entertaining...but I will save it for another day)
Instead, let me reveal a world exclusive - so exclusive that my mum doesn't even know nor any of my Sydney friends nor did I reveal anything on facebook...(so proud of myself for keeping it a secret - LOL)
I left UK for several reasons - one of them is to travel...
So, I'm happy and excited to reveal that I have tickets to leave Sydney in less than a week...woohoo!!
No more travel buddys...I am flying solo!!
I am due to start work in Sydney from December through to the end of January, so I thought I deserved a mini break before works starts!! I spoil myself too much don't I?
Don't get me wrong...I love Sydney...but I am also excited about leaving next week...
Where am I going? Well...hopefully I will have some interesting stories to tell when I return...

Open Relationships
I totally agree with "open relationships"....
Hold on, I mean Sexytooth's definition of "open relationships"...not the, "I am free to date / sleep with anyone I want" open relationship...but the relationship where it is not secret or hidden love...
I have met guys who want a relationship with me, but they are not prepared to share this with the world. These are the ones who when asked about who they fancy, they will not answer directly. "Who do you fancy?" "No-one / your mum (as a joke) / some celebrity" I used to tolerate some of these guys, but now all I have to say to them is "GET LOST!" because basically, they aren't real men! They are too scared / ashamed to tell people.
There are also those couples who don't answer directly when asked if they are dating or not. What is the deal with that?? It's simple - Yes we are or No we're not or We're considering it... Instead, they have that stupid smug look - "We know, but we're not gonna tell you" - well, to them, I say "GROW UP!"
Of course, there may be factors like their parents may disapprove of their relationship. Well, to that I say, if the guy is a real man, he would grow some balls and tell her parents how it is and where they stand. "I love her so we're gonna date" or something along those lines.
These are all simply MY opinions, so please don't get offended.
I will admit that I have been there myself - I harboured a secret relationship because he was too scared to tell / Maybe I am or maybe I'm not dating him / My parents might not like you, so don't tell them yet....
Screw all that! If I enter a relationship, it should be a happy time - so happy that you tell the whole world and be open and honest about it.
Okay, everyone who reads my blogs knows I declare all my relationships on blogs and even when they fail, I still declare it.
Anyway, so there's no relationship declaration in this post.
But this Sexytooth-boyfriend-wannabe has told his friends about me!! Yes, he has!! And I feel the pressure already!!! It's like, I am dying to tell my friends...but they're all so far away and rarely reply my messages...and so I will have to tell my blog readers...
I haven't got anything to tell except I think this guy must really like me as he has been telling his friends about me already. He doesn't even live in Sydney!!! I don't do long-distance relationships...What to do???
Watch this space...(the guy in question is also the guy in the Dear Diary post who did the sweetest thing...gosh, so many guys here...can anyone keep up? Cos I'm getting lost!! LOL)
May I also add that I did not intend to start a relationship in Oz because I have no idea how long I am staying here....but I think it's my Scottish accent which is attracting these guys!!!
